Job Candidate Searches

While an underlying goal of our training process is to teach clients how to recruit, screen and select their own job candidates, this is not always a practical consideration.

For a variety of reasons (i.e. lack of experience, limited candidate options, inadequate time/resources required to conduct the search), JDHA is sometimes retained to conduct job candidate searches on behalf of our clients. Virtually all of these searches are related to executive and management-level positions.

We have developed a robust, comprehensive and demanding search process to ensure that our clients are able to consider and evaluate a talented pool of qualified job candidates before making a hiring decision.

In a typical scenario, JDHA is asked to produce three candidates for a particular position.  We conduct all aspects of the search process (listings/postings, inquiries, multiple interviews, reference checking, verifying application information, behavioral testing, etc.).  Then, we present the client with our three best options.  We keep our clients informed as to our progress throughout the search process.

Often, these are confidential searches, meaning that clients have zero visibility or exposure to any applicants until we make our final recommendations.  Likewise, applicants work directly with us, rather than our client.  In this regard, JDHA serves as the “gate keeper.”  Clients interact only with qualified candidates…The rest are screened through our internal search/screening/selection process.
