K.A.S.H.: A System of Training ©
K.A.S.H. is an acronym for Knowledge, Aptitude, Skills and Habits; the essential aspects of any quality training program. K.A.S.H. is training for trainers. Our goal is to turn your managers into exceptional trainers.
There are two primary reasons that people fail to succeed in any particular position: One (already covered in TalentScout), is poor selection. The other reason is that the person has not been trained adequately to do the job. Regardless of the reason, the ultimate responsibility for failure lies with your manager. It is his or her responsibility to ensure that subordinates are provided with training that is both action-oriented andperformance-based. Managers must select quality job candidates, and, also provide them with the requisite training required for job success. If they fail to do so, your managers are neglecting an essential job function. Your managers have failed.
We have found that most training programs are geared to teaching people who have strictly marginal capabilities, thereby wasting a great deal of any manager's time and efforts. Effective training must result in action; people given training must have the capacity and opportunity to apply what they learn.
K.A.S.H. provides your managers with a framework to develop training programs fortheir own people. Our approach is both action and performance-oriented; a system focused upon high-potential people and those with proven capacities to produce. Does this sound demanding? It is by design.
When training and developing your people (and investing in your organization's future), you can't afford a more sympathetic approach. Your managers have limited time and other resources; they should focus their training efforts upon those who are qualified and motivated to learn. To do otherwise is to marginalize the overall quality and culture of your organization.
“A culture of performance and personal accountability.”
