Organizational Assessments
Effective Strategic Planning and Organizational Development are impossible without a firm understanding of (and agreement upon) a company’s current competitive position.
JDHA’s proprietary Organizational Assessment program is a focused, insightful and comprehensive review of any client’s internal operations. Organizational Assessment content is different for each client; we custom-build assessments to meet each client’s particular needs in the most timely and cost-effective manner possible.
The goals of the Organizational Assessment process are to:
- Recognize and appreciate each client’s unique history, heritage, background, culture and vision for the future.
- Review and validate existing organizational and strategic-level goals and objectives.
- Assess and verify strengths and weaknesses of the current leadership/management team.
- Assess the effectiveness of all communication channels (organizational, divisional, departmental, etc.).
- Review and evaluate the “formal” organizational chart, and compare it to the actual or “informal” organizational chart (how business really gets done within the company).
- Compare/contrast existing job descriptions and various performance metrics vs. actual results (organizational, divisional, departmental and individual).
- Engage leaders, managers and employees throughout our analytic process (in an effort to integrate various perspectives into our assessment).
Proper planning cannot occur without a factual and objective analysis of any company’s current competitive position. JDHA’s Organizational Assessment provides a valuable tool for clients who seek to better understand their competencies (and greatest opportunities for future improvement).

“A focused, insightful and comprehensive review."
